Warm design for a classic downtown flagship store.

Century, a Swiss luxury watch label, was opening a new flagship store in Tokyo Ginza. The interior design for the entire store was developed and designed in collaboration with the company’s contractors. The basic idea was to create a stylish and sophisticated atmosphere that would communicate luxury in a modern and elegant way. The floor plans were designed to allow the customer to shop in an unobtrusive environment. Refined materials and an understated color scheme harmoniously complete the interior design concept and convey a homely feeling. .

Soft design for a urban children’s concept store

The children’s concept store Jolene’s Room is located in the urban Aeschbach neighborhood of Aarau. The store features carefully selected brands from all over the world, which win over customers through their design and quality. Accordingly, the store’s design was conceived in a modern matching style. Subtle colors and high-quality materials lend a note of refinement to the whole design. Generously arranged room elements structure the sales area and also serve to display the merchandise. The abstract-looking tree is both the room’s focal point and a design element.

An illustration of forest optics implemented in a multilayered silhouette.

IDEA

The exhibition concept includes a modular system consisting of several individual elements. The first element defines the stand’s shell and was inspired by t he wooded area in which Glashütte is located. The image is also used in modified form as a design element - a playful shell that invites the visitor in and arouses their curiosity.  The round floor plan is derived from the 360 degrees of a watch.  Twelve free-standing elements make up this circle, which can be arranged in different ways, depending on the location. At its center lies, the main element: the watchmaking workplace.
